The very early symptoms of pregnancy don’t start immediately. You won’t know that you are pregnant right away and most women don’t realize that they are until they miss their menstrual period. - Swollen breasts

- Excessive tiredness
- Slight feelings of nausea, especially in the morning
- A dull aching pain in the lower back
- More frequent trips to the washroom
Experiencing just one of these symptoms is not enough to go on to think that you may be pregnant. All are symptoms of other conditions. Being tired or having back pain may be your body’s way of telling you that you have been doing too much in the past few days or weeks. Many women also experience breast swelling and tenderness just before they are about to start their period and do not regard it as a symptom of pregnancy.
If you are pregnant, one of the very early signs that you may experience is implantation bleeding. This is the small amount of bleeding that occurs when the fetus first attaches itself to the wall of the uterus. In some women, it may just occur as spotting and they just disregard it as being left over from their period. Others may not even experience it at all. This type of bleeding occurs about ten days into the pregnancy.
Your partner may mention that you are more irritable than usual and you may even notice it yourself and wonder what it wrong. Irritability is one of the early signs of pregnancy as well. This is because as your body is going through changes that you are not aware of, it is producing a higher level of hormones and this affects your emotions. You may find yourself crying over the least little thing ?something that you would have laughed at a few weeks before. You may feel nervous and anxious and not know the reasons.
A reduction in concentration is also a very early sign of pregnancy. You may notice that you forget things quite easily or that you get bored quite easily. Sometimes this reduced concentration comes from knowing that there is something going on with your body and your emotions. You just haven’s figured out that the cause is that you are pregnant.
