Who Want Free Traffic…? I know I do!
The most important part of any business is traffic. Without traffic your business will not be around for very long. It is definitely one of the most important aspects of almost all businesses. There are two really easy ways to get free traffic to your biz (online).
The first one is Blogging
You have likely already heard of blogging, you may have a blog even. But do you know how to develop an informative one that actually gets you interested and continuous visitors?
Daily updates are sort of vital when running a blog. You want to get daily visits to your blog and so you must have new, fresh, and informative content added each day, make sense?
Blogs are great because search engines love them. If you add new content to your blog on a daily basis then you are likely to get a high ranking position in search engines. Two of the more common blog sites (which are both free to use) are Blogger.com and Wordpress.com. Blogger is perhaps the easier of the two but that’s for you to decide.
Next are online forums.
This is the other free way to get traffic that I’ll be talking about. Just go to a search engine and find a few active forums that are related to your business topic and then start posting. It’s important though to first get a feel for the way the forum works, just spend a little time reading though some posts and you’ll soon get it. Find out what the users are talking about, what they’re asking and just try to answer with helpful info.
It is really important to not simply spam the forum. You can avoid spamming by only providing relevant and useful information to the forum. Don’t just have a list of your products or services with tonnes of links to your site. Doing this will get you banned from the forum and give you a really bad reputation, which is a terrible way to start any career. In the forum you are often allowed to have a signature in all of your posts. This is the place where you can direct to your website.
A good reputation is so very important because it will ultimately lead to others seeking you out rather than you seeking them out. If you get a reputation with your blog or in forums as an expert that is genuinely willing to help others then you will be well placed to build a very lucrative business which is based on a solid foundation.
There are many other ways to get traffic but these two are great because they are free and relatively easy. It does require effort but you can start right away, in fact what are you waiting for, go do it now!
