Ways to Stay Away From Panic Attack

Ways to Stay Away From Panic Attack

Look at what reactions happen within your mind and body. Chemicals produced and released internally are the catalyst to all the symptoms of a anxiety attack. Your body is an amazing machine and the network of nerves and sensory receptors in the body transmit all the information as it is received. Our brain will transmit warnings through a complex cerebral cortex causing the decision process to kick into life. This in turn lets the good old brain know whether the actual problem is real or just your imagination playing havoc with you. If the correct buttons are hit, you will find that chemicals are released into the body and physical changes are the result.

The AWARE approach can help you to get rid of panic attacks once they begin. The first “A” stands for accepting the attack, since trying to fight the feelings of fear may only make the attack worse. “W” means to watch the anxiety without determining it to be good or bad. The second “A” represents acting normal, which entails continuing with your regular activity and breathing through the attack. The “R” stands for repeating the steps as often as necessary until you get rid of the panic attack.

Our goal is to give you reliable, practical, easy-to-understand information on how to control anxiety and panic disorder to help you towards a cure as quickly as possible.

Anxiety isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Some amount of anxiety is normal for everyone, such as being a little nervous before a test or when you meet someone new who you really like. Did you ever shake somebody’s hand and realize that your hand is kind of clammy? That’s anxiety. Although it can be uncomfortable, it is usually our body’s natural way to prepare for a stressful situation.

Just imagine being able to socialize, go to work, take a boat or plane ride, go to faraway vacation places, play games, make a speech in front of an audience, and enjoy your life without having to worry when anxiety or panic will attack again. How wonderful it would be to live a life free from any type of fear, worry, anxiety, or panic.

You can get some better data on how long the anxiety attack lasts, how intense it is etc. This gives you more control. Although it can feel that panic attacks go on for ever, they can actually only continue for short periods - they are short-term survival responses.

Panic attacks can include symptoms like shortness of breath, chest pain and a pounding heart. You might sweat, shake or get dizzy. All of these signs of a panic attack can make a person feel as though he is going to have a heart attack or die. However, the symptoms of a panic order are rarely serious in a physical sense.

Staying in the situation helps ‘decondition’ the panic response as your mind gets the message that it is not really threatening. This is why people often say that the first few minutes of public speaking are the worst. If you continue for longer than a few minutes then the mind gets the message that it’s not really that threatening.
