Easiest and Quickest Tips to Prevent from Sunburn

Easiest and Quickest Tips to Prevent from Sunburn

Sunburn is a burn to living tissue such as skin produced by overexposure to ultraviolet (UV) radiation, commonly from the sun’s rays. Exposure of the skin to lesser amounts of UV will often produce a suntan. Usual mild symptoms in humans and animals are red or reddish skin that is hot to the touch, general fatigue, and mild dizziness. An excess of UV-radiation can be life-threatening.

While the UVA rays attack the skin’s inner layers, the UVB rays attack the skin’s outer layers. The skin of fair complexion people is very sensitive to the sun. A dark skin person can tolerate longer sun exposure before he can have sunburns, whereas the same sun can burn the skin of a fair skin person in 15 minutes.

Aloe vera is the best natural thing to use. Even cutting piece of the plant itself is great. Cold baths. And put some aloe vera GEL on afterwords. It speeds healing and is cooling and soothing. I had 2nd degree burns and used it. It felt so much better. Take some mustard oil and rub it on the affected area. It serves as an excellent home remedy for sunburns.

Bathing in a cool bath with vinegar in it will aleviate some of the stinging sensation. Then get some aloe vera to apply to it and ensure that you moisturise well thereafter to minimise peeling!

Take some mustard oil and rub it on the affected area. It serves as an excellent home remedy for sunburns.
Sunburn is the reddening and sometimes blistering of the skin generally from excessive sun exposure on a single occasion; say a sunny day at poolside. Because of the increase in the incidence of melanoma and other skin cancers, experts are fond of saying “there is no such thing as a healthy tan.” We should all use sunscreen.

Brew enough tea bags to cover a considerable area of the sunburn and ice down to get the tea really cold. Place the cold, wet tea bags and/or a rag drenched in the tea over the affected area, keeping the bags and rags cold. If you can submerge the burned part of the body, do so into the tea. Do this for at least one hour as often as you can (3 or so times a day) until it fades. This works for second and third degree burns as well and will prohibit scarring! The tea works as an antioxidant and pulls the heat out of your body. It stops the pain temporarily also.

Cut fresh cucumber slices and rub them on the affected area. Before taking bath, add some baking powder to the bath water, this will help to soothe the burnt skin. Take Epsom salt or ice compress. Grate some potatoes and apply them on the burnt skin. Starch from the potatoes will soothe the burn.

Take three small tomatoes and mash well. Add a cup of butter milk. Mix well and apply on skin. Allow to dry for one hour at least. This will help to reduce pain and take heat out of skin.
