Mustang Performance

If you are looking to upgrade you Ford Mustang where do you start? Mustang performance parts can be dated back to the sixties. There are so many options that one who isn’t an expert couldn’t possibly know where to start. Questions you may ask yourself may be. What will give me the most power? What will make my car look the best? And then there is the ever-dreaded question, gas mileage. What will increase my gas mileage the most?

What will give you the most power? With more power you are setting yourself up for more fun and having a better day all together. If there ever is a bad day at work just jump in the stang and let the power put a smile on your face. Three ways to boost your power quickly are: performance chips, air intake systems and a new exhaust system. Mustang chips and mustang air intakes are definitely the easiest and most cost efficient way to increase your power. Also exhaust systems are a great way to increase the horses but your pocket will have to be a little deeper. Either way you can’t go wrong.

What will make my car unique, better than all the rest? The body of your mustang is like a teenage girl getting ready for her first day of high school. Everything has to be perfect, waking up at 5:00 in the morning just to get ready to impress. She has to put her hair up, try to make her eyes as noticeable as possible, and even dress her body up to flatter all the teenage boys. You don’t have to wake up early in the morning and by all means you better not be trying to flatter the teenage boys but your mustang should impress all those who have the privilege to see. It can be what ever you want it to be. There are so many parts and accessories that really it is up to you. Your mustang can become your very own masterpiece. From hood scoops, quarter window louver all the way back to the spoiler you can even get racing stripes if isn’t enough with just the body kits. Really if you don’t like anything on the stock body of your mustang you can probably find something to replace it. If you really wanted you could change the whole body and that would make your mustang look different from all the rest of these ponies on the road.

What is going to give the best gas mileage? Once again we turn back to the mustang chips and intakes for better gas mileage. Although they will not be dramatic increases over time they will pay for themselves. Which means more money in your pocket. And who can’t use a little bit more of that? Both the mustang chip and mustang air intakes can be installed in under 40 minutes. 10 minutes for the chips and 25-30 minutes for the intakes. The installation of a performance chip is practically fool proof. If you can read you can install a mustang performance chip. Saving you time and money.

Get Better Gas Mileage

Lets just be truthful to ourselves, gas prices are not coming down anytime soon if ever. And let’s face it, if you don’t own your own oil rig you are probably spending more in gas than what you spend in groceries. Fortunately for us there are a few tricks that may seem simple and pointless but in the end can be very beneficial. Some of these so called secrets include constant freeway speeds, tire pressure, lowering RPM’s, and not racing in between lights. If you follow these simple rules you will improve your gas mileage.

Does anyone know how to use cruise control? Driving down the freeway drives me crazy, constantly speeding up, slowing down. Just use your cruise control and stay the same speed. By using the cruise control and maintaining speed you actually save gas and in turn save you money. Speeding up uses more gas while slowing down uses less so if you are up and down and up again you are wasting precious fuel. This is rule number one use your cruise controls whenever possible.

Rule number two checking and maintaining the proper pressure in your tires. I know we remember what questions were on our driving test or what we had to do to get our licenses but one of the things they try to teach us is to walk around and check for possible problems with your car. Unfortunately you can’t always tell just by looking at your tires to know that the pressure isn’t right. Sometimes you can get away with that but most of the time you will have to actually check them manually. Keep the pressure up.

The third and final rule for today is keep your RPM’s down. This means no “meet the parents” racing in between lights. I know everyone wants to be the fastest but you wallet may want you to slow down. Whenever we rev up the engine sure enough it is using more gas. There is a reason that your car gets louder when you do that. Whenever driving up and down hills don’t down shift to slow your car down. Shifting down makes your engine work harder and shoots the RPM’s up which you guessed it uses your hard earned paycheck.

Water 4 Gas an Old Technology

Water 4 Gas: an Old Technology

Let’s face it, affording every day expenses are fast becoming a burdensome task.
Fuel prices have made every facet of our lives more expensive.

People are starting to think outside the box and even experimenting with things like water4gas and the infamous water car.

What, a car that runs on water? Whatever! Now you’ve heard it all, right?

I checked into this claim, when I received a targeted email from a company, or rather research group.
THey were building and testing small units that turn water into a gas that could be burned along with your regular fuel, to increase gas mileage and engine efficiency.

I read their case studies and realized that it actually could be done.

I was always interested in the idea of using hydrogen for fuel instead of gas.
But there were problems and danger associated with storing hydrogen in tanks under pressure in a vehicle. Have you ever heard of Hydrogen Bombs?

But these people weren’t making hydrogen and storing it, but using HHO or Browns gas, which some people call it, to burn along with their fuel to significantly increase gas mileage.
The water car that they are using is actually a hydrogen on demand hybrid.

Water4gas technology uses this Browns Gas or HHO(2 parts hydrogen to 1 part oxygen) to produce a safe and constant supply of gas to make their engines more efficient, and use less gas in the process.

The emission from the browns gas after burning is water. Your emissions are cleaner and better for the environment.

Hydrogen generators are being built by these back yard mechanics and being installed, to produce claims of 30-60% increases in MPG or more. One man was using a 99 Toyota Corolla and had experienced 62 MPG using water4gas technology. His water car, or hybrid was just one example that was illustrated on the website.

It appears that his technology has been around for awhile. Fuel prices have caused this water4gas technology to be resurrected, with everyday people experiencing great success.

Cheap parts using everyday items are used to build these hydrogen-on-demand systems and are easily installed on your car or truck. Pre-built units are available for people that aren’t mechanically inclined.

There are increasing numbers of people that have started new businesses that utilize the water4gas technology. These people build the units and install them for people that want their own water car, or water hybrid.

So there you have it, an old technology in a new time. What do you have to lose by at least checking out the possibility of turning your gas hog into a fuel saving hybrid. THis is perfect for people who want to decrease their carbon footprint.

Mark Spalding is an advocate of alternate fuel research and renewable resources.
With current gas prices, his findings are even more valuable to the consumer.

Car Leasing Special: Volkswagen Reveals Futuristic Car Concepts

Inspired by a film with a 2028 setting, Volkswagen launched a new micro-site for its “Ego,” “Room,” and “One” concept cars, which are offshoots of Volkswagen’s car designers’ and developers’ ingenuity, creativity, and imagination.

In the said film, the father was narrating to his son about the automotive world about twenty years back. The micro-site showcases the visualizations of the car maker, who is based in Wolfsburg, Germany. The car maker has a wide array of ideas for future cars but zeroed in on three concept cars.

The “One,” from the word itself, is a one-seater that can tilt forward to save up on space and for easier parking. It has the ability to connect in a trainlike manner during rush hour, presuming that there’s one in the future. On the other hand, the two-seater “Ego” concept car features an exterior that can be personalized through holograms. The third concept car called “the Room” has rotating seats in the front for face-to-face interaction. The cars are designed to drive on their own.

The special web page addition to its web site “demonstrates how the cars of the future can communicate with traffic lights, how holographic displays in the cockpit can assist the driver and how we can generate even more driving pleasure and still keep our cars emission-free,” said Jochen Sengpiehl, head of marketing for Volkswagen Passenger Cars.

The micro-site is interactive, allowing users to choose individual links to have a better look of what the automotive future would be like in the eyes of the car making company’s think tank. There are navigation guides in the micro-site that can aid you and your intuition, as a “Talk to Us” feature is included to give users the opportunity to share their comments and create their own information packages to download. Its classic film sequences coupled with 3D effects would transport you to another time, like being in a time capsule.
There have been detractors to the concept cars, implying that they will be left as concepts and are far from happening in real life. Some say that it poses as a mystery to be able to ride in an automatically driven car and that most cars would be under the same network. They say it’s only good for all cars under the same car manufacturing company.

Whatever the reality will be, or whether we would still be here to witness that reality or not anymore, perceiving the future and coming up with a futuristic car concept is commendable. After all, a lot of good things we enjoy now are products of our folks’ imagination in the yesteryears.

Help The Environment By Not Using Gas In Your Car Use Water Instead

Help The Environment By Not Using Gas In Your Car - Use Water Instead!

What if you could decrease your emissions to zero and at the same time save money on gasoline. Sounds too good to be true, right? The fact of the matter is that with proper modification, almost any engine can become more efficient at extracting the most work out of a given amount of fuel. The key to great fuel efficiency and decreased emissions is by augmenting a more complete burn of the gasoline when it enters your engine. How can you do this? Simple, with a modification that derives oxygen and hydrogen from water that is then fed into your engine via the air intake. This is precisely how you can help power your car on water constituents and at the same time help save the environment.

So, how can you use water to increase fuel efficiency and reduce emissions on your vehicle? First you must understand that water is built of hydrogen and oxygen, two highly flammable gases that are stuck together in stable harmony. When you pass an electrical current through water, water disassociates into hydrogen and oxygen gas. What is the benefit of this in terms of an internal combustion engine? If you know anything about a typical vehicle engine, you will realize that it is powered by a mixture of gasoline and compressed air. If you increased the oxygen content of that air, what do you think would happen? If you guessed the burn rate of the fuel would increase, you would be correct. Interestingly, when you feed oxygen and hydrogen into a gasoline engine, more of the gasoline injected into the chamber is burned, and therefore less gasoline is required to power the vehicle. This translates into fuel savings.

Even better than the increased efficiency is the fact that your car will no longer dump environment destroying pollutants into the atmosphere. This is true simply because usually when gasoline is utilized by an internal combustion engine, much of the gas leaves the combustion chamber unburned simply because there was not enough oxygen to complete the reaction. This residual gasoline is then pumped out of the engine into a catalytic converter and then into the atmosphere. When you have a more efficient burn of the fuel, less fuel is left unburnt leading to increased power per unit fuel and less emissions. A win-win situation!

If you are interested in helping protect the environment, it is important you become well informed about what your vehicle does to the world around you simply because of its inefficiency. This can all change by learning to run your vehicle with the help of water.
