Yes you can get Madonna tickets in Los Angeles

Madonna’s 2008 Sticky and Sweet tour is packing out stadiums across Europe, in readiness for her tour that will be unleashed here in October. Her shows have been selling well, and many shows are near sell-outs. In Los Angeles, her only show is scheduled for 6 November 2008 and will be held at Dodger Stadium, and if you act quickly you can snare some tickets at reasonable prices.

Her latest album, Hard Candy, debuted at number one across the globe, has been dominating the charts since it’s release on April 25, 2008. The Queen of Pop’s album features vocal appearances by today’s hottest pop artists such as Justin Timberlake and Kanye West. The producers of the album are the highly respected Timbaland and Pharrell Williams who receive both performance and production credits on the album.

And what are we to expect in LA? It will be the usual stunning array of music, stage antics, dancing and a song list that goes back to 1984!! During her Paris show, always the one to stir up a bit of controversy, Madonna tried a bit of push-it-to-the-edge sexual antics by kissing one of the female dancers, or one of the female audience members. Swigging champagne bottle she yelled at the crowd “Who do you love more, me or the Rolling Stones?”

The Material Girl always puts on an amazing concert, and this is one show not to be missed. Her current single with Justin Timberlake has hit the top of the charts all around the world. It seems the world can’t get enough of this amazing lady, half way through her third decade of constantly reinventing herself and of being a superstar. And her catalogue of songs is awesome including “Like a Prayer”, “Vogue”, “Get into the Groove” and “Holiday”.

What high fiber foods can do for you

What high fiber foods can do for you

It’s a well-known fact that incorporating enough fiber in your diet is beneficial to your health. Dietary fiber not only prevents constipation, but also lowers the risk of heart conditions. Such beneficial fiber can be found in fruit, nuts, vegetables and whole grains.

Dietary fibers: the lowdown

Dietary fiber cannot be digested by the body, unlike fats, proteins and

carbohydrates. Fiber passes through the stomach to the colon. Fiber can be divided into two types:

Insoluble fiber. This type of fiber cannotdissolve in water and helps eliminate constipation. Insoluble fiber can be found in various
foods such as nuts, wheat bran and a variety of vegetables.

Soluble fiber. Soluble fiber dissolves in water and creates a material similar to gel. This is beneficial in the sense that it lowers cholesterol. Abundant in peas, apples, carrots and barley.

Fiber is an important part of the day-to-day diet. Be sure to eat a variety of types of dietary fiber to achieve the best health results.

Benefits of a high-fiber diet

The benefits of a diet rich in fiber are widely known. A few of these are listed below:

Avoiding constipation. As fiber can’t be broken down by the digestive system, they pass through the stomach unchanged right into the colon. The fiber solidifies your stool and softens it. This helps prevent constipation.

Lower cholesterol levels. Fiber is known to help lower the cholesterol levels. Eating oats, flaxseed and oat bran contribute to a healthy cholesterol level.

Weight Loss. Fiber has a tendency to make you feel full for a longer period of time after eating. This will prevent you from snacking or overeating.

These are only a few of the benefits. Others include hemorrhoid prevention and lowering blood sugar levels.

Fiber intake per day

The recommended daily intake is 14 grams of fiber per 1000 calories. An adult consumes approximately 2500 calories a day, which means that 35 grams of fiber per day is the recommended amount. However, this may vary depending on age, gender and build.

People who are not used to a fiber-rich diet may have difficulty adapting their eating habits.

Build up your diet gradually and drink enough fluids to avoid problems such as diarrhea and gas.

Plant foods such as fruits and grains are rich in fiber. Canned fruit has the same amount of fiber as normal fruit. However, dried fruit loses fiber in processing. Be sure to avoid removing seeds or peels from vegetables or fruit, as these contain fiber. Another way to increase your daily fiber intake is by switching to whole wheat bread instead of normal white bread.

The Difference Between Red and White Wine

The Difference Between Red and White Wine

When you select a wine for drinking or entertaining it is important to know the difference between red and white. Not only will you look smart in front of your dinner guests, but you will also know how to pair the right wine with the right food.

1. Taste
The difference in taste between red and white wines is pretty significant. Due to the process, white wine comes out much lighter and fruity (perfect for beginners), while red wine has a much heavier and complex flavor.

2. Process & Color
When fermented, the grapes used to make red wine release tannins that contribute to the deep red or burgundy color. With white wines the skin, stems, and seeds are not present in the fermentation process and without the tannins to release their color the wine comes out white.

3. Age
Red wines are typically aged much longer then white wines. This is because of the tannins, which help preserve the wine. White wines that contain a much lower amount of tannins cannot be aged like red wine can.

4. Serving Temperature
Red wine is served at room temperature in a balloon glass. While white wine is served chilled in a long stemmed glass (which you hold by the stem to avoid warming your chilled wine).

5. Antioxidants
Your doctor may tell you to drink a glass of red wine with dinner to stay healthy because it contains antioxidants. But white wine also contains antioxidants. They’re much smaller, which actually makes them easier to absorb.

6. Pairing
When serving wine with food, pair your meal with the wine that compliments it best. White wine goes well with white meats and light foods, such as fish, chicken or pork. Red wine goes best with red meat and heavier tasting foods.

Information on mini bikes

Information on mini bikes

Mini bikes are miniature motorcycles, which are also known as mini motos, pocket bikes or pit bikes. Mini bikes have been around for years, since the 50’s where they were built using bits and bobs found lying around which were usually bits of yard equipment such as lawn mowers or anything else which could be found.

The original mini bikes became popular during the 50’s where these mini bikes were used in pit lanes to help racers and teams to get around the pit lanes easily. Mini bikes meant that people did not need to use bicycles to get around the pit lanes, which were harder and slower, and also meant that no extra room was taken up in the trailer when transporting as mini bikes were so small.

Mini bikes were not just used for riding around the pits on though, when the owners got the mini bikes home they would often ride them around their neighborhood for fun. This allowed people to see mini bikes, and children especially liked the idea and wanted their own mini bike to ride around on.

Before long companies were being set up which produced these bikes to sell to the public. Companies such as Rupp mini bikes, and Fox mini bikes created popular businesses selling these mini bikes and in no time everyone was getting into the mini bike craze.

From these mini bikes, throughout the years many more have been designed and created with many more styles becoming available and many more sophisticated engines being produced (the majority of which are now 2 stroke engines).

The most famous style of mini bike is what is no known as pocket bikes or mini motos, these are scaled down replicas of racing bikes used in moto GP or in the world super bike series. These are the most common type of mini bike which you can buy today.

Also pit bikes have evolved, and now are like miniature motocross bikes. These are not just used as pit bikes these days though, there are many competition where these bikes are used including freestyle riding and motocross style pit bike racing.

Mini choppers are also available which are miniature replicas of the larger choppers such as Harley Davidson choppers.

Also today the mini bikes have evolved to having four wheels with mini ATV’s available as well.

With so many types of mini bike available to buy it is no wonder they have taken the globe by storm.

Work at Home Data Entry Jobs : What and Why

Work at home data entry jobs are increasingly popular with those who want to spend more time with family and less time commuting to a minimum wage job. More than just the cost savings is involved–you can also gain greater job satisfaction.

What data entry workers do

Work at home data entry jobs come in a variety of types and skill levels. You can pick and choose your jobs taking into consideration your own interests and abilities, or you can use the work to advance your experience and ability to earn even more income. Work at home data entry includes such activities as secretarial, clerical, accounting, record keeping, data base management and other activities. Data entry workers at home even transcribe medical and legal audio files. Each of these types of services and others require different skill levels but each can and is done in a home office setting.

Benefits of home data work

There are many benefits accrued with work at home data entry jobs. One of the major benefits is that of net income. Because your pay depends on the amount of work you accomplish each day, you are not wasting time traveling to and from your job. Instead, you walk from your kitchen to your home office, sit down at your computer and within moments you are on the job and earning money. Your outgo for transportation, office wear, restaurant lunches and other work related expenses will drop significantly when you work at home.

Benefits to the business

Work at home data entry jobs help the business that contracts with the home worker. The main benefits to the contracting organization is that of economics. Companies that spend training dollars for employees who move on to better paying jobs with other companies essentially lose money on employees who only stay in the job a short while. When the company contracts with home based workers, they are already experienced in data entry and already have chosen the work venue of a home office. The company no longer has to pay for employee benefits such as health insurance or vacation time.

What’s in it for the worker

The person who does work at home data entry jobs is earning a higher net income than one who is forced to commute to work from a home location. Not only are there extra vehicle or commuting expenses, but there are additional child care and food expenses. In addition, some incidentals such as laundry and cleaning costs will be higher for the person who works at an outside job. The worker doing home data entry pays less for the privilege of working. The home based worker also enjoys less stress due to grouchy or nit-picky bosses.

Stress reduction

Reducing stress is a major benefit for those in work at home data entry jobs. High stress levels that are often associated with commuter traffic, with too many cups of coffee and with insufficient exercise and improper nutrition cause blood pressure to rise. Many employees must take calming medications in order to get to sleep at night. This type of bodily stress can cause related health problems such as heart disease, diabetes, and cancer. While changing work locations won’t solve all the problems of life, it will certainly mean a more relaxed work pace.
